Hey guys and gals, any of you see the Lie Detector TV show last nigt on PAX? I guess they got "Dr Hollywood" Ed Gelb to run the testing, allegedly and reportedly on camera (at least the credits said the tests were run live on camera). One of the tests involved Paula Jones and her allegations against Clinton. What I found insulting was the hostess. They got Rolanda Watts (sp?) to run the show. A washed up talk show hostess, half a step above Jerry Springer and with no credibility and a fake southern accent to boot... I was not impressed... Sackett,This show, along with the Dr. Phil Show last week are the new hot topics on George's site. Well worth a look but make sure your anti-virus program is up to date before you go! Ted IP: Logged |

Did no-one else see this show? Or, does everyone else, have no opinion about it or care how we are portrayed on TV?The silence is deafening...LOL (:-) Jim IP: Logged |

Hey Jim,I missed the show. I seem to miss all the shows. BUT, last night I was watching CSI and Nick Stokes (if you follow the characters) debunked CVSA on live television. His words were something like 'That technology has been proven invalidated for years'. I sent up a small cheer when I heard that. Of course the cop replied with "Well, its still used in over 1,400 agencies in the US", but still it was good to hear. I didn't see the show either, but one of our association members sent out an email much like your post in which she said she copied it to VHS, so I'm hoping to borrow it.I heard the show will be on every week, and in the first one they briefly explained RQs CQs and NQs. Is that correct? IP: Logged |

Barry,I believe it is a weekly show and should be on again next Tuesday night (if so). The "hostess" explained briefly the IQ's and RQ's. Not very much depth on CQ's, though... Jim [This message has been edited by sackett (edited 03-11-2005).] IP: Logged |

I saw parts of it as I switched back and forth.I was not impressed but didn't see anything really inappropriate. I don't think Ed would do that, would you Ed? It seemed similar to the show Ed did years ago with F. Lee Bailey. Jack ------------------
